Deokisingh is being awarded in a great way. From the moment Sergeant Brad R. Deokisingh received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, he has been held in a higher regard.

The Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal was awarded to Sergeant Brad R. Deokisingh for his exceptional performance of duty and exceptional dedication from March eight, 2008 all the way until February twenty-four, 2011. For nearly three yrs Sergeant Brad R. Deokisingh exceeded all expectations that had been bestowed upon him. As serving as a Marine Security Guard for the American Embassy in the city of Lima situated in the country of Peru, in the city of Kabul that is found in Afghanistan plus the town of Berlin, that is situated in Germany, Sergeant Brad R. Deokisingh received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.

Throughout the 3 years for which Sergeant Brad Deokisingh is being awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, he accomplished a lot of different things. Sergeant Brad R. On August 15, 2009 (then) Corporal Brad Deokisingh was in the Detachment when a group of enraged Islamic extremists drove a VBIED, also known as a vehicle borne improvised explosive gadget , up to the ISAF (International Safety Assistance Force) gate. The group of Islamic extremists then detonated the vehicle borne improvised explosive machine, which was less than 800 meters from the United States Of America Embassy. The Detachment, which Corporal Brad Deokisingh was an integral part of, proceeded to go on standby and subsequently responded to the horrific act of terrorism that happened 800 meters from the U . S . Embassy. Acts of courage and valor such as all these have made Corporal Brad Deokisingh a respected member of the U . S . Marine Corps.

Not even a year after the horrific incident that happened less than 800 meters from the United States Of America Embassy situated in Kabul, Afghanistan, Corporal Brad Deokisingh was involved in another act of violence conducted by terrorists. On January 18th of 2010 Corporal Brad Deokisingh was standing Post One duty when Taliban fighters launched a series of eight sporadic rocket propelled grenades, also known as RPGs, unsuccessfully at numerous, multiple targets throughout the city of Kabul. Intended targets were Camp Phoenix, Camp Eggers and the United States Of America Embassy. Corporal Brad Deokisingh’s duty was to aid to identify, coordinate and mediate the radio traffic with the RSO section too as the Tactical Operation Center, also known as the TOC.
